For the 4th time in row Frederic Peeters and Kobus Cantraine from Der Autobahn Scrapers organized Freddy's
Volkswagen Frenzy, an event which opens the Belgian VW show season. The event is held in Ninove, the home town
of Freddy. All the money made in the event is donated to a home for mentally ill people in City of Ninove.

Kobus told that last year they had suberb weather, most people having sunburns etc, and show drew 220 Volkswagens
(minus DAS cars). This year it rained the whole day and "only" 134 cars appeared.
181 Schwimmer?
Genuine Schwimmer and ride of my colleague from the Netherlands.
Pastel Green Split that won the trophy for Best Original and Freddy's New Beetle with
Flat 4 BRMs. Certain Luftsick member currently in Hungary should get some kicks out of the NB..
Louis Vilers is Belgium's oldest Porsche driver. Kobus told that even though Louis is in his 80's
he is as enthousiastic about cars as all of us and each year he amases lots of event visitors with super
cool storys. Besides Louis won the Best Porsche trophy!
Kobus wanted to sent some regards to certain person in Norway along with these shots..
The tent under wich everyone was hiding from the rain by the end of the day was also the beertent, how
convenient! The had beer from the local brewery called Witkap which is somekind of fairly strong, but
very smooth easy to drink munk beer. The tent was under charge of the local Vespa Club called the
Vatjesjoepappen which translates to The Greasy Valves.
Philip Steenackers' awesome, famous and beautiful Florida Blue Looker on the right.
This '66 with BRMs remains me again about my old car, not sure about the colour, but looks a lot like
the failed mixing of Gulf Blue on my '63. (The friend of the painter mixed the paint for my car in '97
and it turned out "greenier" than Gulf Blue actually is, but in other hand it looked much better that
way.)
Really nice late model Looker on the right with genuine EMPI 8-spokes.
