Having been into Hot Rods ever since of early 80's, I liked car's appearance a lot, the 165 front tires raise the front bit too high, on the other hand Street Rods are seldom as slammed as Cal Lookers.
The Oval was bought from BUGPAJA some years ago. I remember seeing it first time in Bug Run '99. At that time it was solid black with polished Cookie Cutters and 1600cc engine. At the time these photos were taken the car had disc brakes, 2161cc stroker. Jaska fitted also some nice accesories like chromed Autometer tach, Talbot mirror, T-bars and Les Leston steering wheel.
In the summer of 2001 Jaska decided to ditch the car in favour of early 911 or 912.
