This 356B was imported to Finland from Sweden in '99 by Maaza Marttila from Vaasa. Later the car moved to Helsinki area to Juha Manninen of Arabia Slugs.

Maaza visited the '99 Bug Run on the way home when he picked the car up in Sweden.

Finished car with new engine and Flat 4 BRMs in 2000 VW Open and Bug Run while in Maaza's ownership.

After some engine trouble Juha fitted a hot rodded VW engine to the car and drag raced it the 2002 season, he got bitten by drag racing bug quite seriously.
