Kari Kuusharju originally found this '52 Split near Pälkäne. At the time he was sharing a garage with Make Railo and somehow the Split had ended up to Make. In the 1996 WCA Xmas party the Split changed hands again and Pasi Paavola was the new owner. BTW, Split was driven four years ago to the Kupla Kopla garage.

In last October I got a chance to buy the sucker, thought it would be cool to shock people by doing only the minimal fixing in order to get the Split running again. Let's see what happens..

Split looking like a fresh from a trip to Bug Run on the left :-) Car still had the matching numbers engine.

Story goes, that the Split was stored in a shed in a farm and the farmer was storing salt near the car. This probably explains the surface rust on the car.
